Disclosure Provided to Student Debtors

Financial Strategies is required to disclose the following information to all debtor students before the debtor student pays for a course:

• The course fee includes all materials and a certificate of completion.
• The fee for the online course is $24 for an individual course or $39 for a couple’s course when purchased using a credit or debit card.
• The fee for the phone course is $34 for an individual course or $49 for a couple’s course when purchased using a credit or debit card.
• There is a $5 processing fee for money orders and cashier’s checks.
• The course is available without regard to debtor student’s ability to pay. The fee will be waived if the debtor student is receiving legal services pro-bono or their sole source of income is disability payments. Click for more information and to request a waiver.
• If debtor students are married and both spouses are filing bankruptcy, each person must complete the course in order to receive a certificate. Debtor students who are filing joint bankruptcy may purchase a couple’s course if they would like to view the course together.
• Each person is required to view the entire course and complete a course evaluation in order to receive their completion certificate.
• The debtor student must provide Bankruptcy Case Number during course registration.
• The online course is accessed through BKCourse.com and is available 24 hours a day.
• The telephone course is accessed toll-free at 1-877-252-6877 and is available 24 hours a day.
• Business hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm EST and Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm EST.
• The course instructor has 19 years experience teaching Personal Financial Management, and 15 years experience as a Certified Consumer Credit Counselor.
• Financial Strategies does not pay or receive fees or other consideration for the referral of debtor students to BKcourse.com.
• Upon successful completion of the course, Financial Strategies will issue a certificate of completion to the debtor student.

Typographical Errors

In the event an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, Financial Strategies, Inc. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Financial Strategies, Inc. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Financial Strategies, Inc. shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Financial Strategies, Inc. reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Financial Strategies, Inc. reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. All orders placed over $2000.00 (U.S.) must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.

Sales Taxes

Financial Strategies, Inc. shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within Indiana. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state.

Service and Support

All requests for technical service and support should be made directly to the manufacturer in accordance with their terms and conditions. Financial Strategies, Inc. provides links to on-line references for most items listed on the Bkcourse.com web sites.

Jurisdiction and Venue

You agree that any legal action brought against Financial Strategies, Inc. shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that the sole jurisdiction and venue for any litigation arising from your use of or orders made on the MyMortgageTrainer.com web sites shall be an appropriate federal or state court located in Marion County Indiana.
